RANT: Where the NBA is quickly becoming unwatchable

Image“I got your back, Lakers.”

Here’s a joke. “What’s more annoying, obnoxious, awful and disgusting than Lakers fans?”

The NBA.

You get out-shot, out-rebounded and even commit more turnovers then the other team, and yet, you still end up winning? Not to mention the opposing team’s star player going ape-feces on you, as well.

*rhetorical question alert*

How does something like that happen?

UNBELIEVABLE.

How do you guys continue to watch these rigged games every-single-day?

According to Dictionary.com, the definition of “joke” is, “something that is amusing or ridiculous, especially because of being ludicrously inadequate or a sham; a thing, situation, or person laughed at rather than taken seriously”.

And that’s what the NBA is and will be, for as long as David Stern is at the helm.

But whatever…GO GIANTS!

Where Jim Barnett Is REALLY Concerned About Curry’s Ankle

Cat Fight!

Well, today’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the Indiana Pacers involved a respectable “brawl”(compared to the other brawls we’ve seen in the NBA) involving several players from both teams. Okay, It wasn’t  a “Malice in the Palace” type brawl like back in 2004, but I say it was a pretty decent one.

David Lee had a nice shoulder shove on Roy Hibbert and Roy Hibbert had a couple of nice  knock-downs on Stephen Curry. But neither of them came out victorious after the dust was all settled.

The winner, was none other than Golden State Warriors’s TV color analyst himself, Jim Barnett. During the Warriors television broadcast, Jimmy B. had your boy spitting out his Kirkland Diet Green Tea (with citrus) out like if I was one of those scary fire-breathing guys at a Hawaiian Luau or something.

Darn you, Jim Barnett.

So what happened was, while the players were busy getting tangled and frisky with each other in the stands, Jim Barnett said, ” I’m just worried about Curry’s ankle, quite frankly”

*facepalm*

I don’t know about you guys, but I got a good chuckle out of that for some reason. Was it because he said it so randomly? The moment of silence that came afterwards? I don’t know. But whatever it was, it got me. It got me good. Ah…there’s never a dull moment when Jim Barnett is on TV. That’s for sure.
